Hello there…

This is Manogna, alias QueenBee.

I have always been the type, who loves talking , reading and writing come close second. ( I also love playing online games in every possible genre. You name it and I might have probably, downloaded, played and deleted it too!) Thanks to the English teachers during my childhood and to the curriculum which made essay writing a part of exams, I developed an interest in it.

I remember winning a couple of essay writing competitions during my school days.

I also enjoyed talking about everything under the Sun and boring my sister with all the details. She was the first story teller I ever believed in! Both my maternal and paternal grand mothers used to tell me lots of stories, each with their own domain specializations. But the ones that I enjoyed the most were the ones my sister told me, of her own imagination.  They had magic, magical creatures and princes! (Move over , J.K.Rowling, J.R.R.Tolkien!)

I also enjoy  discussing authors and their books. These small talks led me to develop  some stories and it triggered my interest in journalling.  What better way to journal, than having a website of my own.

That dearies, is how  www.beeafteryou.com was born! (My above average Mathematical skills came to use , while permutating and computating English words for my blog name. )

I was fond of talking to my mom, (baring the soul becomes easy when talking to my mom),  following her into every room and corner of our house. Finally, she got used to me constantly buzzing in her ears. (There comes my tagline!)

Dad was my critic, who would read my initial works and encourage me. Not to forget my uncle who translated my first ever story for his German project.  If that doesn’t boost your confidence, I don’t know if anything ever will!

Mr.Bee, my best friend and spouse, manages to chide me when I am lazy towards my blog and encourages me by sharing my posts. He has been my backbone in this journey.  GBee, my first born, my hero, encourages me to draw more of my stick figure cartoons and even drew a couple of his own! KBee, my baby, who is yet to talk fluently, also inspires me in his own way.

Lo! That is the history behind the name and some of the regulars who will feature in this blog. Like always, I plan to discuss everything under the Sun and mostly entertain my readers.

After more than 7 years of blogging experience under my belt, I managed to lose all my data. Now I am getting back on my feet, hopefully, with better posts and head in the clouds for inspiration!

Tata, for now and follow the blog, for more.
